Christian Science nursing care -- Rates
(EFFECTIVE FEBRUARY 1, 2009)
Glenmont accepts payment from all private sources, including insurance plans that cover services rendered at Glenmont. Glenmont participates in the Medicare and Medicaid programs as a federally-certified Religious Nonmedical Health Care Institution.
All patients are initially admitted for a three week stay. Application for extensions of stay must be made to Glenmont’s Utilization Review Committee. As determined by the nursing department, CSNC-1, CSNC-2, CSNC-3, or CSPL guests whose care needs change may be moved to a higher or lower care level, with fees adjusted accordingly.
CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE ONE (CSNC-1)
In-patient, single private room.
Daily flat rate of $345/$360 (shared/private bath).
This daily flat rate includes:
• All Nursing Services (up to 4.5 hours per day) and all Nursing and Personal Care Supplies
• Room and Board (includes 3 meals per day; snacks; housekeeping; laundry and mending; phone service, including long distance within continental US; one-on-one and group activities program, including on-site church services)
CSNC-1 guests are charged additionally for:
* Nursing Services over 4.5 hours per day @ $45 per hour (partial hours prorated)
CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE TWO (CSNC-2)
In-patient single private room.
Daily flat rate of $300/$315 (shared/private bath).
This daily flat rate includes:
• All Nursing Services (up to 4.5 hours per day) and all Nursing and Personal Care Supplies
• Room and Board (includes 3 meals per day; snacks; housekeeping; laundry and mending; phone service, including long distance within continental US; one-on-one and group activities program, including on-site church services)
CSNC-2 guests are charged additionally for:
* Nursing Services over 4.5 hours per day @ $40 per hour (partial hours prorated)
CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING CARE THREE (CSNC-3)
In-patient, single private room.
Daily flat rate of $265/280 (shared/private bath).
This daily flat rate includes:
• All Nursing Services (up to 3.5 hours per day) and all Nursing and Personal Care Supplies
• Room and Board (includes 3 meals per day; snacks; housekeeping; laundry and mending; phone service, including long distance within continental US; one-on-one and group activities program, including on-site church services)
CSNC-3 guests are charged additionally for:
* Nursing Services over 3.5 hours per day @ $30 per hour (partial hours prorated)
CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING SHELTERED CARE (CSN-SC)
In-patient, single private room.
Daily flat rate of $200/215 (shared/private bath).
This daily flat rate includes:
• All Nursing Services (up to 2 hours per day) and all Nursing and Personal Care Supplies
• Room and Board (includes 3 meals per day; snacks; housekeeping; laundry and mending; phone service, including long distance within continental US; one-on-one and group activities program, including on-site church services)
CSN-SC guests are charged additionally for:
* Nursing Services over 2 hours per day @ $30 per hour (partial hours prorated)
CHRISTIAN SCIENCE NURSING PROGRESSIVE LIVING (CSN-PL)
Single private room w/shared bath.
Daily flat rate of $100/115 (shared/private bath).
Guests at the CSPL level need the daily support of a Christian Science Nursing environment, but require direct, hands-on nursing only an occasional, not regular, basis.
This daily flat rate includes:
• Basic Nursing Services, including breakfast tray, nursing checks, reminders (up to 1 hour per day)
• Room and Board (includes 3 meals per day; snacks; weekly housekeeping; laundry and mending; phone service (including long distance within continental US); activities program, including on-site church services)
CSN-PL guests are charged additionally for:
* Nursing Services and/or assistance with personal care or other activities over 1 hour per day @ $30 per hour (partial hours prorated)
* Nursing and Personal Care Supplies
OTHER CHARGES
All patients and residents will be billed extra for Beautician/Barber Services; Special Purchases; Ancillary Services
CABLE TELEVISION
Cable television hook-up is available in each room, if the nursing department feels it is appropriate for the patient to have cable television. A monthly service charge would be billed directly to the patient by the cable company.
OUTPATIENT NURSING CARE
• $35.00 set up charge (for first visit in 7-day period)
• $45.00 per hour for nursing (extensive telephone consultations with nursing may also be billed at $45.00 per hour)
• $20.00 minimum charge per subsequent visit (for same need)
• Additional charge for supplies
CHRISTIAN SCIENCE REST AND STUDY
Single, $60 per day
Double, $70 per day
Includes breakfast – lunch is available for $8.25, and supper for $7.50.
(A 20% reduction on room rate may be requested when the rest and study guest is here primarily to visit or support a patient or resident.)
