We offer the following classes in The Healing Ministry of Christian Science Nursing:
Intro* — Community workshop on the foundation of Christian Science nursing
I — Basic Christian Science nursing (assistive care through light bed care)
II — Intermediate Christian Science nursing (bed care; home nursing; mental needs)
III — Advanced Christian Science nursing (wound care; camp nursing; sudden needs)
IV — Leadership and Communication (management; instruction; grand review of all
nursing skills; infant & mother care)
* What Every Christian Scientist Should Know About Christian Science Nursing
A student can come to Glenmont for 3-4 weeks of classroom work or apply to take the full course, including mentoring and on the job education. Acceptance into the classroom portions of a course does not guarantee acceptance into the mentoring portion or imply a post-class contract for employment at Glenmont.

The Christly purity of a Christian Science nurse’s thought allows him or her to bear true witness to the patient’s spiritual individuality. This witnessing is a key element in Christian Science healing. Through the clear lens of a consecrated nurse’s thought, the light of Christ can enter the sickroom as spontaneously as light passing through a window pane (see Science and Health, p. 295).
